38th Parallel was a Christian band with similarities to that of Linkin Park. They weren't just a cheesy knock-off though, in my opinion. Their lyrics were poignant, and resonated with me. I decided to check out their website, and noticing that the last news update hadn't occurred since 2003, I wonder if they had dissolved, which I later confirmed upon reading Wikipedia. This was really disappointing to discover.

Has anyone else heard of 38th Parallel?
 
I've heard of it in the context of it being the demarcation line between the Koreas but I've never heard of the band.
 
Yes, I've heard of them. Not the biggest fan of them, but I thought I heard they're getting back together or something from a guy who goes to their church.
 
I remember them, I liked a couple of their songs. I don't think of them as that similar to linkin park though.
