Star Wars EaW chapter?

Hello, I'm a Star Wars nerd, and my name is Jordan. *Hi Jordan!* I realized I was a nerd when I bought Star Wars Empire at War and have been playing it in all of my spare time...or maybe when I bought and read almost all of the books.

Okay, anyways. Away from the creepy SWA thing. I just wanted to know if anyone had and wanted to make a SWA chapter of ToJ with me :)
 
Wow that took forever to get a vote lol. Anyone else?? I was hoping we could have the EaW chapter major in the Galactic Conquest feature (Im still playing the SP campaigns so I don't know how many players are allowed to participate in that).
 
I haven't gotten it yet, but I will eventually. (I'm a huge SW geek too. ^_^)
Once I do, I'd be up for it.
 
I agree with you in that it's not all I thought it'd be, I still like it. It's still fun to me. But not as good as Homeworld. I loved that, able to hyperspace across the map and surprise attack the enemy. Huge maps. Insanely small space maps for EAW though :(. I also hate the land battles. Hate them. I suck horribly at them. Why can't you have an SD just do what it was built for to that Rebel installation oh so visible from space? Noo.....gotta send in 300,000 Stormtroopers that can get runover by one thing with treads....Ah well. :) At least there's virtually no unit cap (I mean on the galactic map). Keep the posts comin'!

Think about what you said here. This is a game that is NOT as much fun as one released in '98.

Seeing Stormtroopers, and hearing the SW Score, is not enough of a reason to actually get a game, if its not even as fun as one that's so old, it's not even able to be bought in the 10 dollar jewel cases at walmart.
 
Sir when I mentioned not as good as Homeworld, I meant the combat.
And anyways I didn't start this thread to discuss if the game is good, just if anyone wanted to play online with me. Well I suppose it does involve the game being good. But think about what you said: 'Not as good as a game that came out in '98." Games nowadays usually aren't better than most games from the '90's in my opinion because almost all of them are sequels that just have better graphics and/or new weapons, or hyped to the point we expect them to be like a second coming for video games. I don't want to start an arguement, I just felt that was a good reply is all.
