Star Wars: Galaxies

Does anybody play this game? I would like to hear from someone who's played it before I consider getting it.

I dont play games that you have to pay monthly for lol. I dont have the money for it....i wish they would stop charching, i think alot of people would buy it then.

Yeah, I find the charge too much for me. So Ill probably never play this game until they drop the charge all together.

I have BattleFront, but found that network play somewhat sucks on it. any maps that have leaves was in effect unplayable for me.

I played Galaxies pretty seriously for a while. The game was great in it's heyday (around publish 7), but now, don't even bother. It's basically a rehash of EQ2, and instead of fixing the numerous bugs they brought with the Kashyyyk expansion, they just add frosting and hope you don't notice the rotten cake.

My MMO playtime goes to Guild Wars, and I enthusiastically recommend it to anybody.
