Taking a Break

Some of you may already know this, I have uninstalled Steam from my computer. The reason for this is because I find myself spending 6+ hours playing CS a day, and I feel that God is telling me to spend more time in other areas of my life, such as photography, reading the bible, and spending time with friends.

I have many good memories with you, (and very few bad ones

) and I would like to say that someday I will be back. I am not quitting TOJ, CGA, or [7F], as I believe that this community isn't just about video games, but a group of friends.

If anyone is interested, I am selling 2 of my steam accounts. My computer doesn't handle half life 2 well online, so I am selling my Bronze Half Life 2 Account, and my condition zero steam account. I still have a CS 1.6 account if I ever start to play again. If you would like any of these, pm me, don't make offers in the forums please, this is not an auction.

I will be hopping on the forums every couple days, as I am not quitting computers, just playing certain computer games. There are a couple single player games that I can play without playing for too long..I can handle playing for an hour or so a day. Essentially for a long time, I was addicted to cs, and I was putting CS as my #1 priority, with God, Family, School and Friends as my last priorities. My life revolved around it for awhile. Because of this, in my grade 12 year I did barely any homework, I still graduated, (barely), but I had to go back to school (long story) until Dec 17th, when I finished Math 11. (I didn't work on the course for 2 years, as I was in a self paced school and didn't want to put in the effort to try and get past difficult problems.)

Anyway, I haven't played cs in 2 weeks, and I feel great. I still have withdrawl symptons once in awhile, but those are slowly fading.

Anyway, this is getting really long. Please pray for me and my family, I need to start working soon to help support my family, and I am arguing with my mom a lot. We just got a settlement from her car accident a couple years back, and so she bought me an xbox for christmas, so I will be using it with friends in real life, and have better relationships with them.

God Bless you all.

I wouldn't go that far...

A lot of people should be doing what your doing, Pilgrim.
You could be an inspiration to people that use the computer more than 8+ hours a day.
