yeppers, i'm dling all css maps i can find and rebiulding archives. There is approx. 1.5k more maps out there and I want them wuwahaha.

This time i know what i'm doing with css archives.

Did i mention i love ff, autosave for any file extensions, i dont have to hit save everytime, click dl and move on.

I'm 1/4 done converting the 3,300 maps.

Stage 1 is done, the downloading.
Stage 2 is in progress
Stage 3 will take a lonnnnnggggg time.
 
Phase 2 is almost done, i'll be done within another 2 hours of work. Then comes the fun part, loading 100 maps at a time on a server, with a 100 map long map cycle with 1 min map time with a bot. When server runs into a map without a .nav file, it compiles how ever long it takes, then after its done, 1 minute later it loads next map and keeps going. I'll be doing this in 3 machines during the day, 1 remotly and 2 locally, it should chew through maps quite quickly, unless it hits a map that takes 6 hrs!!!
 
Phase 2 is done, 3,050 css maps at 4.5gigs. Took me 2 weeks or so.

Phase 3 is starting, I have the following computers running 100 map long map cycles compiling .nav bot files:

AMD Turion 1.6ghz, 768 ram
P4 2.4ghz, 512 ram
P4 2.53ghz, 512 ram
P-D 3ghz, 2gigs ram (only gonna be using 1, 3ghz core)
 
Well, i’ve got 600 maps done, with 500 compiling as I type. All 4 computers have been about pegged at 100% cpu usage all day doing maps. Sucking that cpu power down the drain working hard.

AMD Turion 1.6ghz, 768MB ram, linux, load 1.15 -1 srcds
P4 2.4ghz, 512MB ram, linux, load 1.05 -1 srcds
P4 2.53ghz, 512MB ram, linux, load 2.05 -1 srcds
P-D Dual core 3ghz, 2gig ram, linux load 3.5 -2 srcds (1 per core)

I should be done in just a few more days, going though 1,000 in 2 days.
 
Phase 3 done. All 3000 maps were put though .nav compilation 1 at a time with 100 map map cycles per server.

Next is phase 4, finishing up adding .nav files to map folders and re raring each map up.
