The Big Bang Theory......just miles away.

This is a few months old, so sorry if you all have seen/read it. As interesting as the experiment may be, it worries me.

"They estimate the possibility of accidentally destroying the planet as extremely low." "The risk is calculated at about 10 to the minus 40 - a 1 in 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance." Any chance at all in my mind is to much.

No, I'm not creating a topic promoting the Big Bang theory. lol. It is an interesting read though on what they are trying to do with an experiment.

An estimation concerning the possible destruction of the planet from those who have a bias towards seeing this experiment happen. I make no claims to understanding a lick of the math behind their experiment or estimation, but I don't need to be to note that scientist have been known to learn through mistakes. That would be one big whoopsy.

Well if the planet is destroyed anytime soon through this or any other type accident, it has been nice knowing all of you.

I haven't bothered reading the article, but I can tell you the chance of them destroying the world anytime soon is zero. May I remind you of Revelation? There's lots of things that must happen before the world can go boom.

Besides, if/when it does go boom, we'll be in a better place. So bring it on.

I couldn't agree more :D I can assure all the God is still in Control, and these scientist are just beating theirselves in the head to think otherwise.

That's pretty much about it.

The world can't end while I'm here.

Besides, an experiment that destroys the planet is impossible in even a post-rapture setting, as Revelation goes quite into detail concerning the end of the world as we know it.

Speaking of which, I love the chorus to that song. Another one of those secular songs that unknowingly has a strong Christian meaning I suppose.

Forgetting the stanzas of course...
