It has been said that the eyes are the window of the soul. I think this is a thought origniating from Matthew 6:22. Thank you for sharing those. One of the greatest mysteries and wonders of Heaven is what will God really look like, this has me wondering about His eyes!

The tinting of the image is artificial; the Helix Nebula does not naturally appear with the colors shown above.

I don't get it, why would the color be artificially added?

Snopes mentions Kitt Peak! I've been there. They held an astronomy event there once and my father and I went. A bunch of astronomer hobbyist people had set up their telescopes and you could walk around and look at whatever they were looking at. I got to see most of the planets, some stars and nebulae, lots of cool stuff.
