The people in this district body blocked it and a single ranger npc almost killed it but sadly the dragon stopped loosing health. I hear Gaile Gray(Community rep for guild wars) was not at all pleased aobut that lol.

I know, 3am is just too late when I have to leave for work at 7am on Mondays. I'd have really like to have seen one of them.

During the first BWE for the original launch, Gwen's popped up everywhere and eventually said "Time for you to die" then started nuking everyone.

I'm on the east coast but I stayed up because I don't have class till 1:50 pm on mondays :) . A bad idea this time probably cause I had a Midterm in Bible today, I did alright though (I think):o
 
I never did figure out what the Tapestry Shred was for. But she did heal me when she followed me around, so it was worth having her tag along!
 
Yes, once you buy her a new flute and have her follow you, every time she plays the flute it heals you. It's nice to have her with you when you don't have anyone to group with in Pre-Sear.

I've heard that the tapestry shred is for some quest in the Underworld or something. Halonic could probably tell you more about it.

The tapestry shred, along with the broken flute and tattered girls cape are part of an unknown quest that has been broken since release. The underworld rumors are false, I hae personally brought all three items to Sarah(Gwen's mother) in the UW. Nothing happens. It's well known among many players that there was supposed to be a quest but it is now and always has been broken.
