Thoughts on Donald Miller's "Blue Like Jazz"

I just finished reading Donald Miller's Blue Like Jazz not too long ago. It was an extremely interesting read for me. He's very anti-conformist in his thinking, and by "conformist" I mean hardcore mainstream conservative evangelical Jesus votes Republican thinking.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on the book? Comments? Criticisms?

i read it a while back, and loved it. i like his writing style and his way of thinking about things. it seems more "non-conformist" authors are coming out with books. check out his other books, too.

if you like him, you'd probably also like "velvet elvis" by Rob Bell, pastor of Mars Hill church.

I found it as very interesting to read.

'Through Painted Deserts' is probably one of my all-time favorite books, so that's what prompted me to buy 'Blue Like Jazz'. I like how he is honest and human in his writing, and yet he still wants to serve and respect a loving God.
