to white and nerdy

LOL My current fave! It's the ONLY time I've ever eagerly anticipated the release of a video...

I love all the obvious geek references, but I love the almost-hidden ones even more! For instance, who spotted the periodic table? :D

Except I'm geeky, not nerdy. :)

i liked the D&D and spinnerz and the uber micro

i liked the D&D
See, the dice were a letdown. REAL, hardcore RPGers have an extensive collection of dice; they would not be using the wussy "official D&D dice". Those things are for n00bs.

There are many reasons for this strange obsession. Of course, your different characters will most likely demand different sets of dice, chosen to suit the individual personalities. But, too, you may be in search of that elusive set of dice that always rolls high.

And of course, there is the mind control factor. When I was a DCon, they displayed the dice in lovely open trays. The translucent and frosted dice were even backlit, like beautiful candies. o.O

Of course I had to buy a third set. Not my fault. I lost all free will when confronted with such a display.

Males have a tendacy to only buy specific categories, females on the other hand buy anything if it has even the most remote usage, and of course it will never be used.

No one uses a d7, any more than they actually use a d5...which we own. And I don't know about the d7, but my d5 isn't exactly fair. A 1 or a 5 is about twice as likely to come up as a 2, 3, or 4. Seriously! We only have it for novelty value, since it makes a great conversation piece. Everyone wants to see it, but its only actual use is as a token if we forget the miniatures!
