ToJ Staff Positions Available !!! EVERYONE READ

The ToJ Staff sweep is now over.. And while myself and Tek wade the the mountains of updating i brought upon us, i would like to extend the invitation to all ToJ members to apply for the new open staff positions.

All positions with no names in are open and fair game to all members. If you wish to apply then please send me an email or pm.

Please note: candidates will go through the standard screening process, Tek/Rizz decision is final, etc.. etc..
 
Have we basically cut counterstrike out of the games list??? just wondering, I used to play a lot but with TF2 I find myself not even touching my glock any more.

Only if the BOSs Bee has achieved its goal.

Otherwise, I think it is cut off or outdated.

The latest thing I have ever done with my P-90 is blasted monsters in Doom II. :cool:

We'll determine the list of game servers we'll run on our dedicated hardware once we're able to purchase it and afford the monthly hosting expenses.

Quite frankly, I had expected ToJ members to donate sufficient funds to buy the hardware over a year ago, when at least a few of our members still played CS 1.6. Since the pace of fundraising has been much slower than anticipated, I don't want to promise any particular game servers for fear of the games being obsolete by the time we have enough money to buy the hardware.
 
As with any chapter, it needs a leader, activity and a resource to servers... all of which seem to have gone since i last was in toj and played many an hour of cs...

I know there is a duplicate WHO section.. thats on the list.

All positions are open. It all depends on what area you wantto get involved with. There are positions in the core team, or you could be leader/part of a current chapter. Or you could be a section leader who organises all the chapters in that section (e.g. console --> wii & xbox)

I would say that xbox is in desperate need of a leader, web developers are like gold dust... but all positions are fair game
 
Hmm, TOJ TF2 Recruiter, what will I need to do for that? :P

The Recruiter position in any chapter is the job of gathering people into ToJ and organising people inside ToJ. You would report to the chapter leader and your main tasks would be to:

- Post about ToJ in mainstream forums advertising a christian community (we have a template to use)
- Keep our forums active and be a friendly face to any new members
- Help the chapter leaders organise and liase with members to do game nights etc etc..

Other posts and their duties FYI:

Chapter leader.
- Manage the ToJ chapter, keep the forums organised
- Schedule events and maintain activity in forums
- Be a regular part of the game and a point of contact for any members who require help
- etc etc..

Chapter web developer.
- maintain and update the webpage for that chapter. Anything can be used from a simple html template to a full blown masterpiece. Report to the chapter leader, ftp everything to the toj server etc etc...

Group Leader.
- Manage the chapter leaders in that particular group.
- Liase with the staff manager and chapter leaders to keep the staff updated.
- Tek to fill in other duties as this isnt hammered out yet (but it will generally be someone who helps the chapter leaders in their tasks)

Lead recruiter:
- as above for general ToJ,
- research and perform other means of advertisment of toj

Fundraising manager:
- find ways of raising money for ToJ
- research sponsorship, charities etc..
- anything to bring in the $$ and get servers running

Online store manager:
- maintain the online store
- research new products and advertise existing ones
etc etc

Newsletter chief editor:
- write the ToJ newsletter and send out to all members monthly (currently not happening)
- Liase with staff manager and chapter leaders to advertise open positions etc..
- report any news of game nights, matches etc..
- report good stats for toj
