While there are several sources of information, they're all a bit hard to put together a list of what you need to do to get the tome tactic completed.
Basically, each group (beasts, men, giants, etc) has a different number of things you must do. Finish 1/3 of them and you get the first-tier reward. The more you finish, the stronger the tactic gets.
For example, the Men tactic has 6 parts. Complete 2 of them to get the first tier reward - being able to get 50% closer to men, dwarves, and elves before they will engage. Not super powerful, but nice, anyway.
So my list of resources is this:
Allakhazam - list of tactics, broken down by class. This is nice so you can see at a glace what zones you have to travel to and what types of things you have to do when you get there. But it's organization is terrible - you may end up visiting a zone 2 or 3 times if you're not paying attention.
TomeTitan - Tome Titan on curse - addon that lists every unlock by zone. Great for trying to work on all the titles, unlocks, pocket items, etc as you level (or for quick reference while in-game)
