TAM is another very good way to practice individual weapon skills against human opponents. Zorak and I often used to roll a d10 at the beginning of every round, and then play so that we only used the resultant numbered gun that round. If you run out of ammo, switch to the next highest number.
Just don't forget that using two guns in combination is always more powerful than using one gun by itself, no matter how practiced you are.
