Romans 3:10
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
Sometimes when we are feeling less than adequate, we can look at other people who seem like superheroes compared to us in Christian life and feel even further weakened in our hearts, but the truth is they are no better than you or I or anyone else. They have all the same struggles and weaknesses, temptations and failures as any other person alive, but the difference is they put more active faith in God's power to overcome their faults so they make the most of what they have, even when it's not a whole lot.
Remembering the Lord can feed thousands with just a handful of fish, you don't have to have a whole lot to bring to the table for it to pay off great dividends for the profit of the Kingdom, and what a loss would it have been if those fish hadn't been offered at all for fear of their inadequacy? How many other miracles might there have been if others had dared to be so irrationally brave? A turning point comes when we stop hiding and trying to be better just for the sake of being better, and accept and be willing to let God work with us where we are at with what we currently have.
