ok honestly i have no problem with people using their ipods and have their fancy little ear plugs. thats great. im glad your not running around with a boombox or large speakers letting us know what ur listening to. then again sometimes it doesnt make a difference.

Im really tired of people coming into a class with headphones blasting and the entire room can hear it. 1. thats REALLY bad for your ears and can result in permenant damage. 2. It sounds so bad i cant really distinguish unless its some rap crap, techno, or indistinguishable rock. 3. im tired of white gangster wanna be's as the ones walking around like this dancing and doing little moves with their headphones cranked so everyone can hear it.

I rarely listen to my iPod, only like in the car. and i usually only have one ear in, plus i have the volume very low.

i prefer cd's in my car. they produce better sound than an ipod using my aux jack.

I've never tried one of those Car jacks for my iPod so i do not know what it sounds like.

Not if you rip as .wav files, it just takes up a ton of space. I wish iPods were compatible with FLAC.

The iPod actually has a pretty grating sound if you go above the 60-70 mark in volume.
