Here's a noobish question. How do I capture skills for my pet? I have a gorilla with thunderstomp rank 1, how can I get rank 2?
 
To capture new skills for your pet you need to find a pet that has the skill you want, use beast lore to seee what they have. Then, tame it and use it for a while, eventually you'll gain the ability to teach your other pets that skill.
 
Longtooth Runner (40; Bite 6, Dash 2, Furious Howl 3)

Probably the best one to get for 40, personally I just got one pet and didnt even upgrade his skills, all your pet needs is highest lvl of growl, stamina, armour. Anything else while lvling is not really worth it bcause when you hit every 5-6 lvls, gotta go tame another beast: feed it, gain a few loyalty, learn the skills (too much work). Also lower lvl pets hit harder when they reach 60 than the regular lvl 60 pets.
 
Ya know Tek there is such a thing as having too many pets and umm being obsesive about getting the talents and such....kinda scary

Aww, but taming new pets is one of the most fun things to do in WoW!

EDIT: By the bye, a Hunter can only have three pets at a time. Right now, I have the Ridge Stalker Patriarch "on call" and an Elder Mistvale Gorilla and a Vale Screecher in the stables. In case you were wondering. Which you probably weren't.
