Unreal Tournament 3 game night

We've had a few members pick up Unreal Tournament 3 since the Titan Pack was released and even more who dusted off copies they purchased previously. We could probably round up enough players to make an interesting game of deathmatch or even one side of a Warfare match.

So let's schedule a UT3 game night!

When do you guys want to schedule it?
 
How about next Monday night, April 27?

EDIT: We could also do it during the day on Saturday, April 25...?
 
Fridays are my wife's late day at work, so I try to spend time with her Friday and Saturday nights.

So, it looks like next Monday is still looking like our best bet.
 
I will be moving on the 27th, although I plan on having my Rig in place by that time [Pre move], set up and running hot on Internet there is no guarentee's, but I will try to be there if the match happens[with a Very Weak Connection]:(
 
I like Unreal Mondays or Saturdays.

We have TF2sdays already. Perhaps we make an unreal Monday, tf2sday and cod Wednesday or Thursday and set it as a weekly deal and run with it. That way everyone knows its coming and can meet in xfire or steam if you show.

Tek, could you move this thread to the general ToJ forum? Lets make it more publicly known. Many of the RPG and RTS gamers own copies of these games and may want to participate. We should sticky a thread in the general forum about our game nights as well.

We need to nail down a CoD night too.

I'm glad to see people wanting to get game nights going again :D.

We already have TF2sday; we could add Unreal Mondays, Left 4 Wednesdays, and Call of Duty Thursdays.

We'll need to nail down specific days for specific games, but I agree that having one day/night per game each week is a great idea.

That doesn't mean that members will only be playing on those nights, but it gives us a good idea as to when members can find enough members playing the same game to get a match going.

And we can just play Quake Live randomly throughout the week. :D

Tek can you make a sticky on ToJ general about the Unreal Monday, TF2sday, Left4 Wednesday and CoD Thursday game nights? If its legal it would be nice to sticky it in cga as well.

I'm going to be heading to bed shortly, then I have a hardware refresh job I'll be working on tomorrow (Friday), Saturday, and Monday.

But if someone else could type it up, I could sticky it or, at the least, add it to the master list of stickies.

Before we do that, though, have we reached a general consensus on our game night schedule?

I'd rather not sticky an affiliate-specific topic in the CGA General Discussion forum, but we can certainly advertise our new game night schedule once we sort it all out.
 
I haven't got it going yet but we will need a day for TWL TF2 matches. If I read their site right you can schedule it any day that the other side agrees too but the default day if both sides can't agree is Monday. Still scrims aren't supposed to take all night though so having other things on that day shouldn't matter.

We can't have scrims on Tuesdays though as I don't want to turn away our regulars if we have to use the server. Just trying to get it worked out so we don't have anything on the same day as you guys :).
