Update 2.1 Announced

Uh, yeah that's right. They haven't released 2.0 yet and they are already announcing the 2.1 update.

Game Update 2.1: Dance of the Hutts is coming in late April, allowing players to experience brand new in-game content, including a new PvP area and a new mount!

The Hutt Cartel has realized that absolute power stems from knowledge in the dancing arts. They have put out a galactic imperative to find the best dancer and promote them to majesty. In the PvP area, Toborro’s Shakedown, players must use new dance combat skills to face off against other players for unique rewards!
Players who master the PvP area, Toborro’s Shakedown, will earn specialized Reputation points to purchase a new mount, the Huttese Transporter. The Huttese Transporter takes a 5% tax of all Cartel Coin purchases to ensure it’s always satisfied. But don’t worry – if players talk or flirt with the Huttese Transporter, it will give them a Cartel Coin tax break!

Ok... So getting the new transport will make Cartel Market items MORE expensive unless you flirt with it? I'm not sure I am really impressed by this one. A new pvp zone is cool if you like pvp, but I can take or leave the new mount. Especially since you will have to grind the pvp to get it.

I gotta say.... this sounds really stupid. I look at mounts as a tool. As long as it gets me going where I need to go, I'm happy.

Sounds like they're going to port it over to the Kinect and Wii so you can get some exercise while dancing....

I gotta say.... this sounds really stupid. I look at mounts as a tool. As long as it gets me going where I need to go, I'm happy.

Same here which is why I'm not worried about collecting a bunch of them. PVP dance tournament doesn't sound very appealing to me.

Don't feel bad Kahiel since there really was a Star Wars dance game it wasn't to far from reality.

Personally the Solo song is in my so bad (well cheesy) it's good category but it only induced groans for Tek... but then if I can make Tek groan it's a plus for me too .
