So as i told a lot of you band has become my life and marching is great and im enjoying it more then i think i have enjoyed anything.
As a short history my school about 10 years ago was really good musically then we got a new director and up until 5 years we dropped off the map. Now we have our new director Mr. Suhling and in 5 years he took us from a 24 person marching band to a 95 person band this year. We went from not placing in competitions to this year getting 1st place (2nd overall) in the last 2 competitions. We are a 2a school so we are very small and our band is the size of a triple A school! And we are beating those schools!
Also in the last 5 years suhling has brought us to one of the best jazz and wind ensembles in the state!
(sorry super excited just got back from a competition so im happy )
Other then the band stuff life has been good and i hope to return once marching band session is over and i actually have a life again! lol
