Going to be offline on the 15th of January.
My trial windows 8 preview release runs out.

i am hoping to buy the $69.99 upgrade at a local staples tomorrow.
if all goes well ill be back online without interruptions.

in the event i cant get the upgrade;
my PC will restart every hour and display the "you need to upgrade" message
which will prevent any lengthy gameplay such as Fractals,Dungeons and WvW
making any decent GW2 time out of the question
 
I thought the upgrade cost $40 direct from MS? Also if you just bought a new pc, it's $15.
 
Whut about jus' installing a copy of Windows 95? I'm sure someone has a copy sitting aroun' thet they ud sell ya cheep.

i bought the tower used,stripped it down and built it with new parts.
the hard drive that came with it had XP 32-bit..so i got the Win 8 64-bit preview release.
the 32-bit OS didnt recognize all my RAM so that's why i got the free Win 8

as soon as my car insurance takes out their payment i can withdraw enough to to buy the $69 Win 8 Pro from staples. (which should be this morning)
 
got the full Windows 8 Pro 64-bit for $39.99 from Microsoft website.
got all my drivers done,fresh cup of Maxwell House and now im gonna try running Guild Wars 2 lol
