UT2004 Special Edition prices skyrocket

Maaan...This is crazy. Just insane.

I'm wishing I had pre-ordered two copies of UT2004 Special Edition and auctioned one off to make a few bucks.

Wow, now that's highway robbery. Now I'm really glad I bought it for $20 after rebate. Figure I should have anyway when the day before BB had it in, Gamestop's site had it listed as $55

I think that's a DVD set but not the special edition.

Anywhere that's not North America just gets a one DVD version and that's it.

Whoa. They changed it since I posted that last notice. Yesterday it had the picture of the shiny box, the mention of the Logitech headset, and everything else that made the Special Edition so...well, special. Looks like ebgames.com has a history of speaking too early, and not just with release dates. These people could jump the gun in a hippy town.

Maybe my shiny game case will net a good amount on ebay yet...*muses sagely*

Im wishing I would have bought the DVD version when I had the chance. Ive been playing the demo and finding out how much fun this is feels more like the orignal UT then the somewhat disapointing 2003.
