ok thats my specs for the one i have... i was bored so was wondering if 1 there was an ugrade for it and 2 if i should upgrade it... im not worried about the installation my dad can do it easy but im to lazy to ask him what to get lol

There are many cards better then yours. Sad thing is, they always have better. Here is a couple that you can use:

These of course are not the top of the line, but I didn't think you wanted those. The only problem is, can your Power supply handle these cards. Usually Macs have good power supplies, so I am not sure. The card you have should run most games you want, I have not looked at the recommended system for Warhammer Online, but Im sure it is not much higher then WoW

hmm ok i have noo clue what im lookin at... i know i wont be getting one for about 2-3months cause im goign to wait till i get a job to get it that way my dad wont have to pay for it

Ar you gaming with this machine? if not then a faster vid card is only going to generate more heat and give you zero extra performance.

I would stick with the ati you have. I'm also Ont sure if you can even upgrade the video in an imac..can you? It definitely doesn't take a standard sized card..and if you have to buy it from apple you are going to get ripped.

There is an A+ ceritfication class that is very easy to pass. It teaches you all the basics of computers, and what parts do what. It is worth credit at most colleges where I am so not sure about where you live. Mine was 40 hours over 8 classes. Some of them, like mine, have you build a computer and then let you keep it at the end.

Yes on an IMac you can't really upgrade the video card:( There are some small profile cards that will fit, but none better then what you have.

Macs work differently from PCs in that they don't generally like you to fiddle with anything. Also the imacs are more like a giant laptop than a desktop making fiddling with the internals near on impossible. Thus i am pretty sure there is nothing you can do to it other than increase the RAM which may or may not have any relavence to you.

its like a emachine if you ask me. cant change any parts without it being made from them and i have a worse videocard then you do so dont feel so bad , a ATI Radion xpress 200

Yes most PCs are upgradeable. The only problems I have noticed, is that sometimes the power supplies are wired different. The Ram, Video Card, and CPU are upgradeable, you just have to make sure you get the right kind. What problems are you having upgrading your Emachine ash?

well its not as much a problem as a need , 1. my videocard doesnt handle wow very well and i dc alot so im looking to upgrade that and 2. im in dire need of a new dvd drive seeing mine exploded on me a few weeks back and im forced to use a old drive till i can get a new one.

What interface is your video card? What kind of Vidcard is it? What are the rest of your specs on the computer? Are you on dial up or high speed internet of some sort? What size and type of monitor do you have? What sort of budget do you have for the upgrade?

You can get a new dvd drive for like 30 dollars with shipping, and vidcards go from 50 to 600 lol.
