Not suggesting you are wrong but I have not seen that and I have scanned mine. Can you provide more details, what virus scanner you using? What does your scanner see? have you see this thread?
You might want to contact them (wowecon) and let them know. At the moment I haven't found anything myself but you can't be too careful about these things.
I scanned my copy of the wowecon.exe using http://virusscan.jotti.org/ and they did not find anything. Could I suggest you do the same and post your results?
