Warrock?

I noticed that some ppl plat combat arms. I was wondering if there are ppl that play WarRock?
 
Hmm, seems interesting. Their website has tons of 404s though. Which is sorta disappointing.

EDIT: it even has some access violations, woohoo!

It's a free online shooter dealy. Kinda like Battlefield. And maybe 3rd person. So pretty much like Warhawk, but, not.

Having played it a few hours I will say:

- The game has tons of hackers, literally there are an average of 2-3+ per game
- Vehicular combat is ok, but it turns one sided really fast, as it can take 5+ RPGs/Stringers (you only get 5) to take down an aircraft or tank. So if you are caught on foot at range, you are pretty much dead. If you are close you can just run around the vehicle and they can't hit you.
- The weapons don't really feel that good to fire. The spray is a bit too narrow, so it encourages people to go all over the place while firing.
- The physics are rather lame, particularly with the vehicles. If you hit a building you can get stuck very easily, and collisions with vehicles can send you flying several hundred feet into the air. Also running over people doesn't seem to do anything, which is one of my favorite things to do.
- The helicopter controls are really finicky, often times you spend a lot of your time fighting to stay in the air. Of course using a joystick might help in that department.

Such an insult. Its a free game and an average FPS but prefers a $150 Network card. :mad:

The game is supported by advertisements. Who wants to bet they paid to have their "recommendation"
 
Easy tigers... The poor guy just wanted to know if anybody played the game not for a review on how much everyone dislikes it. :)

To Enoch: Dont worry i have posted about games i loved on here *cough fury cough* didn't stop me from loving them (though everybody else hateing fury so much that the server closed down did put a dampener on it). I am sure if there is anybody still playing in ToJ they will PM you or post here. Feel free to bump this post for a week or two to give ppl a chance to see it. Otherwise welcome and feel free to get involved with the community via the various alliances or just by dropping by for a chat.

Thanks ppar3566 I will bump it just not too many times, they are correct tho I have noticed not too many christians play warrock and that might be telling me something. As a fellow christian I need to examine why, and hackers is one reason, pretty much the main reason. If there are other games you guys play let me know so I can join you in-game.

Hi mate. Most games are covered by somebody. It is just best to search the ToJ forums to see who plays what and what IGN they use. The best way to get involved is to joing a guild of somesort that is affiliated with Christian Gamers (e.g. SoE = Guild wars, Redeemed = WAR and WoW, ToJ = TF2, etc). Search around and Im sure you will find something.
 
Tribe of Judah used to have a WarRock chapter, but it was shut down due to inactivity. That's not to say that another Christian WarRock clan wouldn't be successful.
