Wednesday, May 19, 2010 - Who loves/hates you?

There have been some discussions the last few days about a recent Supreme Court ruling. It really got me thinking about the path the US could be on. How long until Christian preaching is deemed hate speech, that we're untreatable?

John 15:

18"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

Don't be afraid to speak up as a Christian about our beliefs and values. They're going to hate us, but that's okay.

Jesus went on to say:

23He who hates me hates my Father as well.

and

(25b)'They hated me without reason.

There is a distinct line here that cannot be crossed. If we love God and do His work, the world will hate us. It is not possible for the masses to follow Satan and yet love what we do.
