Weird internet problems...O.o

As some may have noticed, I've been having some issues with my internet. Most of the time it works ok, but its obviously bad when there's a storm (which happens to be quite common these past few days.)

Coming back from college for the summer, I got a Netgears wireless adapter wg111v2 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009N544A/104-4696627-0203954) from Radioshack since my house already has a wireless internet set up with Verizon (pansy connection).

The problem i've seen is that I sometimes get the blue screen of death, and sometimes my computer restarts randomly....ALL WHILE PLAYING WOW. It's really been bugging me...I was wondering if any techies here knows anything about this.
Some forums online have said that Netgears stuff tends to do that, so I'm also wondering if I should get a refund and get another wireless adapter.

Any help would be great :)

Me thinkst your computer is telling you to stop playing WoW :D

How long does it take before your computer goes to a blue screen or automagically restarts?

If I were you I would replace the Netgear router with a Linksys one. Linksys has proven reliability and should work flawlessly with any home network setup.

I donno CGamer, I had a linksys router and wireless card and it was constantly craping out on me, I switched to a netgear wireless card and it hasn't lost connection or lagged up without a darn good reason (such as someone downloading something).

It isnt too bad, really; it only occurs after a few hours of playing, and usually after a few instances of getting disconnected.

Even when I do get disconnected, my computer is pretty fast so I can usually get back online pretty quickly.

For a little while, i played with a Hawking HG54G wireless USB adapter with my Belkin router, i didnt have a problem with it. Linksys is good, as is Belkin.
