Well it's out now for anyone who hasn't tried it yet. It's laggy as all get out, and seems to be that way across the board. Who would have ever thought my playing on a modem for so long would give me such an advantage one day.

This does make me wonder though how well this is going to work though if they can't get the lag fixed. It also seems to substantiate the reports that I've heard that the physics in any multiplayer for HL2 will have to be severly limited due to the fact that it puts a huge strain not only on the processor but also creates really bad lag. These are things I've heard since before HL2 was released so it shouldn't be any surprise and if there's something Valve can do about it hopefully they'll fix it in short order. So is everyone else experiencing the same kind of thing or is this just anomolous.
