What's been your favorite thing in tBC so far?

Well, it's been about a week. How is everyone doing with tBC? I know we have a couple lvl 68's in the guild, a lot of mid level 60's, and a few low lvl 60's as well. So far, what has been everyones favorite thing to do? Quests.....instances.....grinding.....going through new cities...etc?

Personally, I've enjoyed the chain quests for new items myself. Upgrading my armor due to questing is great. No more spending tons of cash at the AH just to be able to keep up with grinding. Great work Bliz!

I have not spent a ton of time there, Just waiting for the mad rush to die down so I can do more of the starting quests in peace. However, the quests that I have done so far are fantastic and the rewards are awesome. It makes me wonder if they are going to revamp the loot tables in Strat / Scholo / BRS / ZG / .... There is next to no reason I can think of that would keep people in those zones for loot purposes.

perhaps they will give those dungeons an 'heroic' option and update the loot tables for BC. That would keep them lively

Yes I agree, those instances are currently dead. Really kind of sad too imo. To just effectively obsolete such a large part of the game at and around lvl 60.

On my druid that I am still plodding along with level wise (49 now), I can't think of a single reason to bother doing any instance beyond BRD... and even that only if I can somehow find a group.

I think Blizzard should drop the key/attunement requirements for all of those instances that require them. Otherwise new 60's won't bother going through all that effort, when for the same amount of time they could just get a ton of new gear and xp in the outlands that far out paces anything offered in those instances.

last I saw, there was no intent to adjust any of the Azeroth dungeons, nor give them a heroic mode. Remember, there are still people that don't have the expansion pack.. it'll be plenty hard for them to go thru, as it is.

I suppose those without the xpac will play through them, but it's almost like they would have to form a non-xpac guild. Just to find enough players willing to play through them. Just trying to find people to play Mara has been very hard as of late, I seriously doubt those instances will have it better.

To be honest, I don't think anyone who is serious about playing on a pvp server would not get the xpac though (you are asking to just get owned repeatedly in world)... and based on the sheer numbers of new pvp servers vs pve, I would guess a lot of players spend their time that way.

I have two favorite things so far. First, is learning new instances. I love going in to a brand new instance without knowing anything except maybe one or two of the bosses' abilities. Wiping a couple of times on a new boss, but then revising your strategy and taking him down is very rewarding. Second, I have really enjoyed questing again. I never minded leveling up (as my 4 60+ characters should attest). I'm actually more of a solo quest guy. I like to get out there in the wild yonder and see what all my character can take on. Doing that again has been lots of fun. It's a rush to solo a group quest that calls for 3+ people.

mine is not owning it or playing it God has showning me new things in life and about my wife :D

HAve fun playing :D

The community spirit that is enforced by many players getting items and such that they cannot use, but that can be used by others -- be it gems, plant parts, or the ever-growing stacks of Marks of Kil'jaeden that have been piling up in my bags.

To me, it feels really good to be able to dump a stack of plant parts into the mail, knowing full well that I just saved a brother or a sister from having to grind :)
