Which Linux distribution?

I'm on the brink of changing up my operating systems. I want to have Linux be my primary OS, and Windows for games (mostly). The problem is, I don't know which Linux distribution to go with. My big contenders are SuSE and Ubuntu, and I'm not sure which would fit my needs better.

Linux will also be used as a web/file/print server for local operations, if that factors into the whole thing.

So if anyone would help me out, please do. It would be much appreciated. =)

For the average desktop user Ubuntu is great, most all devices are preconfigured and working post-install. This eliminates the hassle of spending 2+ hours of configuring that you find in some other linux distros.

My vote is now for Ubuntu. Before I would have said go with the new Knoppix 4 DVD because it's incredibly easy to install and it comes all set up and all that. But I recently tried Ubuntu, and everything is wonderful in it. In my previous experiences with linux, there has always been at least 1 thing that doesn't work right, but in Ubuntu from what I've seen everything works perfectly, and it's really easy to install, use, and install new packages on.

Okay my main computer is also totaly switched to Ubuntu, for how long .. dont know lol, anyways i hate firefox is there a Almost like IE browser for linux out there lol ?
