VMWare Workstation helps out for testing. I've been running 8 for a month in a virtual machine. My initial impression is lackluster. It looks like they are trying to jump on the touchscreen bandwagon with everything.
 
that's what i've been reading, they seem to be trying to just get everything to work on one OS, not a fan of that personally.
 
i did a full install on my work machine and i actually really like it. Im stoked for the native 8 apps to actually work properly.

sorry guys but i cant go with crazy fanboy ness of linux or apple, but i think windows might have actually done somethign right.

not really a fan of google either, when one company takes over everything it always leads to trouble...
