Until the new World of Warcraft forum is up I will be posting news, events, and updates here.

We are still working on our web-site so please be patient.  Expect WoW Legends to be up and running in about one to two weeks.

You can find our website here: http://www.toj.cc/wow

We will be posting news, events, and updates on our website, as well.

E-mail us here: wowtoj@cgalliance.org - feel free to give us any suggestions you have for the website.

Please tell your friends about us; refer them to both the forums and the main site.

We are working on many things for Legends.  We are currently working on polls, and forums; and will be working on things like member profiles, different skins and more cool features that you can use.

WoW Race Introductions

You can now hear the introductions to both the Human and Dwarven races in the World of Warcraft.  WoW Pub released the audio files.  The files are mp3 and relatively small at about twenty seconds on a broadband connection.

It is as funny as it is cool.  Thanks goes to WoW Pub for finding the information.

Interesting.

As many of you know, we are currently conducting an internal Alpha test for World of Warcraft. Our goal for this Alpha test is to provide the best possible experience for players when the Beta launches in early 2004.

In order to accelerate the testing process, we recently allowed a small group of external testers to play the game. During this process, a collection of files was leaked to the Internet. While these files contain alpha content from the game, they are not fully playable and therefore do not convey the experience that World of Warcraft will provide when it is released.

We are currently investigating this matter and will take serious action against those involved.

As always, we appreciate the interest and enthusiasm that players around the world have for World of Warcraft, and we look forward to delivering a massively multiplayer game unlike any you have ever experienced. Until then, we ask that you refrain from sharing any content that doesn't come directly from Blizzard Entertainment.

Lastly, we would like to announce that sign-ups for the World of Warcraft Beta test will begin at the end of this month. Stay tuned to www.blizzard.com for further details.

Thank you Slayer.

The only question I feel is left is when will the finished game finally be launched?  Could it be as soon as a few months from now?  Or could we be looking for it at a late summer release?  Post your response in our thread When do you think Beta will be released?

I sent an e-mail to a friend I know at GameSpy about it and we'll see if he can get it worked out by tomorrow.

I have a feeling they took the article down temporarily, I'll check with him soon about it.

Wow, quick response.  Problem solved; an editor sent me an e-mail almost immediately.

The link started making the rounds on fan sites before it was even live. It goes live in a half-hour. They had to disable the link because they weren't quite done with it. Watch for it soon.

Edit: the link is back up

We’re moving one step closer but Beta emails have not been sent. Nor will they be sent out today.

Oh so soon as we continue getting everything ready.
