X-Box into a linux computer

I found this and I thought it was interesting reading. Check out the Xbox internal stats. I personally don't have an X-box . I also seen on the linux.org site about using a playstation with linux. CS.

Wow...I neve read about software preparation before...that's kinda cool. I'll still probably use my modchip on it anyway, though, for the flexibility of changing IDE configurations. If things go as planned anyway, I'll never once run a game on it...Why WOULD anyone play a game on a console anyway

After reading a little , it says that if you play online games through microsoft that the x-box will quit working online and that the x-box-computer would be good for just a plain computer (email etc...) but a cheap one. With 64 mb of memory wouldn't do much. (linux os runs on this much fairly well) But still just the thought of it all. CS.???

I am probably going to buy a used one ($120) which wont be live enabled...then I can use the other one for Live

It sounds pretty neat though! It can do basically anything a modchip can do, and then some!
