I'm watching the news right now and I saw a story that doesn't make sense. On a beach in Toronto they found razor blades hidden in the sand around the vollyball court. These razor blades were put on small pieces of wood and hidden in the sand.

Imagine if some 2 year old kid was building a sand castle and came across a blade, how much blood would they loose before they got some help. Stuff like this makes me mad.

So now police have to around the whole beach with metal detectors and make sure they find all the blades.

Anyway, what about the story doesn't make sense?

I think it attests to the sad state of affairs the world is in, where people think it is right to maliciously hurt people. It is really nothing more then a form of terrorism isn't it? Terrorism doesn't have to have political, economic or religious intent, just maligned intent. That is terrorism in its purist form.

I don't understand y a person would do something like that. I feel bad when I accidently bump in to someone. What would make a guy take the time to attach razor blades to small blocks of wood and then hide them around the beach.
To many crazy people in the world.

Your right it is terrorism.

Well come people are just insane.. Or think the world has wronged them in some way that is so drastic that they feel they should take equally drastic revenge. Mostly I think it's that people can be so easily deluded to think something that is untrue..or so caught up in melodrama that they can see no hope. It's a sad, sad way to be.. Not sure what answer you're looking for, but you might try looking into criminal psychology. Very interesting stuff... And scary too.

Man is inherently evil. This isn't a pessimistic statement; in fact, it's repeated several times in the Bible. BUT we have a greater hope, knowing that God sees us as righteous not because of our own efforts but because we've accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior and mediator. Even after we're saved, we still struggle daily against our flesh. The difference is, now we have the tools to overcome temptation.

Way to sum it up.
