Well, we had a couple of female cats we nicknamed "Houdini." See, they would have a litter of kittens and then, BAM! Take them to get fixed and they would say, "Sorry, she's already pregnant." And we couldn't let them abort the kittens, so home the kitty would go...again.vibrokatana said:thirty give or take a few dozen?
So after a while we would lose count. But we actually took them to the nearby pet store, where they vaccinated and sold them for $30 each. (Keep in mind this was in the eighties.) Since the mommas were Angoras (rejects from a lady who got bored with her showcats), they sold quite nicely.
But since pure white cats with blue eyes almost always have some sort of defect, we ended up keeping all the special kitties.
