Apple notebooks are also the most expensive.
Touche.
HAHAHAHA...one, Alienware is owned by Dell, and I am sorry but on board GPUs are hardly high graphics...
actually it's quantas..acer's number three.Voodoopc got bought out by somebody, I think it was HP. Your better off buying an ASUS bare bone(which is what most of the good laptops are based on). Most companies buy from overseas manufacturers, spiffy up the paint and sell it to consumers.
i recently purchased a toshiba...and it's fine. The big thing with all notebooks these days is the air intakes are on the bottom so when you put them on your lap you have to make sure to not cover up the air intake grill/sMy final thoughts on this is: My father-in-law bought a Toshiba laptop (I have nothing against Toshiba, actually I love their TVs and DVD players [they actually created the DVD player...])...but he had a lot of over heating problems, and I hear that a lot from all people I know that have had or has a Toshiba laptop...
We decided to just wait. If a great deal comes along, that's great.

Notice: Laptops are not good for gaming...unless you wanna blow $5000 on one, but then it isn't a laptop, it is called a desktop replacement...because with all the stuff that they have to do to those "high graphics" laptops, you get like an 8 minute battery life...Even the XPS's crap out because one year later your graphics card doesn't matter anymore...lol... However, Dell will upgrade for you...for only $1000!...LOL...
expecially with cases no larger than a toaster you cna put your desktop in. They ahve desktops now with the cases having handles and the lcd's go into a box with a carrying handle. There's also a lan party sling type thing you can put your lcd, toaster pc and clip all of your cables to..Hmm...that sounds really odd...LIES!...lol...Just kidding... Yeah, my point is unless you have a lot of money, and don't mind always being plugged in, then stick with a desktop for extreme gaming...because laptops with SLi video cards are going to have no battery life at all, so whats the point of it being a laptop...?
WELL...I guess it would be good for LAN parties...but who has those anymore...really? With high speed internet, there is no need...too bad too...
