It was 11 years ago today (9/9/99) that the Sega Dreamcast was released in North America.

I plan on celebrating by playing a few Dreamcast games tonight to celebrate.

Are there any other Dreamcast fans in the house?

EDIT: Saw this on TinyCartridge and decided to post it here:

Dreamcast has more horsepower than the PS3, 360, and Wii combined.

I played like, 4 hours of Dreamcast in my life, most of it from a Toy's R Us display. The controller was weird.

The controller remains my favorite stock console controller.

Well... favorite that has an analog stick, anyway.

I'm still partial to the NES/SuperNES/Genesis controllers.

Ah, can't find it, oh well.

Manage to find my N64 and Saturn.

Interesting. Most of the older console Youtubes are not HD. :D

Ah, I saw that in the arcades, was in Playdium.

I just finished playing battle matches in Guardian Heroes.

Its gonna be HD and uploaded soon.

Though, its not a Dreamcast game, its still part of Sega. ;)

I have a Dreamcast in my closet. My brother broke the cable that goes from the console to the TV... /sigh

It was an awesome system. I think Sega was ahead of the game (no pun intended)... too far... far to the point where it killed them.

Anyway... Happy Birthday Dreamcast! I know I miss Sega... :(

Edit: I wish I could find my Genesis... lost it ~10 years ago. :(

Looked just like this one:
