lol - that explains a lot, Aleron.
I sometimes miss my first computer - cutting edge for 1983 - 640k RAM - 10 MEG hard drive (and I really thought - why would you ever need 10 meg of space) - and a portable (about the size of a large sewing machine) - with a 9" amber screen - loaded with Wordstar (anyone remember ^k and ^q) - Dbase II - and a few dos games - all for $1,800.
That was cheap!
"not my-agers" - Very diplomatic and politically correct. That is why you are our fearless leader.I always feel left out in these threads.. This is what I get for hanging out with.. not my age-ers..

It was a piece of junk. I think my brother messed with it more for the novelty of it than anything else.Oh noes not a Trash 80, please no, I hated those things, I had to write a program for those once. That was worse than debugging RPGII on a DEC system running an emulator.
And probably even lojacked. >.>This thread is so hijacked.
I think we've officially found a thread for the small group of forum regulars older than me.
My first gaming system was a NES and my family's first computer was a 486DX/50MHz Dell. Good times, good times.
/Debbie Downer themeI miss my dog Sandy.
