I agree with Gen 100% There is a child's Sunday School song that came to mind when I read your thread; it would be good for young and old alike to keep in mind...

Oh, be careful little eyes, what you see
Oh, be careful little eyes, what you see.
Oh, be careful little eyes, what you see.
There's a Father up above, looking down in tender love,
So be careful little eyes, what you see.
Be careful little ears what you hear
Be careful little mouth what you say...
Be careful little hands, what you touch...
Be careful little feet, where you go...
All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast. Proverbs 15:15
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Proverbs 17:22
Those are two of my favorite on a merry heart! I think the second is where, "laughter is the best medicine," originated. God wants us to be joyful, it is part of the fruit of the Spirit, and that sometimes manifest itself with laughter. Good, clean, laughter, I might add. Seeing that we are created in the image of God, I believe God has a sense of humor, also. I think what we find funny may show the condition of our heart.
Here is a site with Christian comedians.

You might find something you like there and at the bottom of the page there are links to take you through a Christian comedy webring. I used to be an avid I Love Lucy fan, but some of her antics gets to me now, she depicts a downright rebel when it comes to obeying her husband and being a submissive wife...yet, it got her into LOTS of trouble
