I think all you have to click on is custom install and then follow the directions - I didn't change my registry at all.

1) Boot off disc.
2) Start install process.
3) Do some stuff?
4) Select custom installation.
5) 20 minutes later your computer works.

No Mac won't be able to activate a clean install from an upgrade, i guarantee it. MS will say that you need a previous OS.

well right now i bought it but the problem im running into is that for some reason the windows doesn't even pick up my wireless card? so i have to do a direct connect im guessing in order to download some drivers? not exactly sure
