You can crop it without losing any of the image, and still meet board standards.

I did it, but when I tried to save it the speed was incorrect for some reason.
 
Hm. I have no idea why that avatar didn't port over.

Oh well. I went back over to the old forums, nabbed the image, and uploaded it to the new forums. You'll find the cool-o-saurus in the Generic Avatars group (the only group, actually). Click "User CP," then "Edit Avatar," then skip to the last page of avatars. It should be the last on the list.
