PSA: PC re-release of Final Fantasy VII comes packaged with SecuROM

The PC re-release of Final Fantasy VII comes packaged with SecuROM.

But hey, it's your money. Spend it how you want. Just want to make sure we make informed purchasing decisions.

EDIT: Okay, the accidental early release version came packaged with SecuROM, but I haven't found any confirmation that the real launch version includes SecuROM. Still, this is Squeenix we're dealing with and they previously decided to tack SecuROM on to the re-release of a 14-year old game, so I'd be more surprised to see them axe SecuROM from today's release than keep it attached.

Doesn't matter to me I already own a copy on the PSN and the PC version doesn't add anything that the PSN version doesn't have. Except for the ridiculous cheat thing...

Pretty much my sentiment on the matter.

That said, thanks for the intel, Tek. Me no likey DRM.
