Your favorite Worship song.

One of my local Christian Contemporary channels is pretty good too, they have online listening set up. Here's the link:

Stand in the Rain by Superchick, as many times as I hear this song it never seems to get old. Same with this one, I Need You by The Swift. Both have great meanings.

Wow I didnt think anyone would have heard of them on here. My youth group got to actually meet them when they were down in the ozarks about to do a free show, it was awesome.

Of course, there's always iTunes: click on "Radio." Right now there are forty-seven streams under "Religious," and all but a handful are Christian. Something for every taste. :)

I can't believe this thread died...again.

In the spirit of Easter, an old hymn...which is definitely a worship song!

Low in the grave he lay, Jesus my Savior,
waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!

Up from the grave he arose;
with a mighty triumph o'er his foes;
he arose a victor from the dark domain,
and he lives forever, with his saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Vainly they watch his bed, Jesus my Savior,
vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord!

Up from the grave he arose;
with a mighty triumph o'er his foes;
he arose a victor from the dark domain,
and he lives forever, with his saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Death cannot keep its prey, Jesus my Savior;
he tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord!

Up from the grave he arose;
with a mighty triumph o'er his foes;
he arose a victor from the dark domain,
and he lives forever, with his saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

And let's try to keep this one going for a while.

Dredd has to post a song now. As often as he changes his MySpace music, he has to have some good candidates. :D

FFH Lyrics

I'll join the rocks

The time has come for me
To leave this place of complacency
And step out across that line
To the place where I
Can leave all that I have behind
And give you this heart of mine

But what if I'm the only one to break the silence
What if I'm the only one to crack the ice

(chorus)
I'll join the rocks with their singing
I'll join the ocean as it harmonizes with the shore
I'll clap my hands with the mountains
As all creation cries for more
I'll never stop, if I'm the last one living
Your song goes on and on and I must testify
I know that I was born to worship
So if all the singing seems to stop
I'll join the rocks

My ship is sailing now
Into an ocean and I can't tell
What's on the other side
But I know if I don't leave
My heart will never forgive me
And I'll be left behind

But what if I'm the only one to see
there's more to this
What if we have just begun to
scratch the surface

i like casting crowns, i saw them at BattleCry and they were awsome. Also Unhindered was cool, they sang a lot

A song that has ministered to me is By a Band Called Stellar Kart. Their Song off their First Album "Student Driver" is the Song Called A Love Song. It is a Modern Day Praise Song I love it Check it out if you can Find it!

I prefer the more traditional Hymns. I think Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art are 2 of the best ones of all time.

For a more modern slant, I like A Few Good Men sung by Bill Gaither's troop. I saw them perform this song in NYC a few weeks after 9/11. Towards the end of the song, New York City Fire Fighters and Police Officers filed out on stage. The audience went wild!! There wasn't a dry eye in the house!

Oh yeah, and my favorite worship song is sort of contemporary... does "When He Returns" by Kevin Max (I'm sorta obsessed with "The Imposter" since I bought it) count?
