I was constantly refreshing for 20 minutes, and never got through... their server went down. A lot of people are ticked off at Amazon, now (including myself -- they've hosed us too many times).Bummer. It was 1:20pm when I went to check it and they were all sold out

I have the xbox360, but if you've got an xbox but with the same game like Burnout Revenge for the xbox and I've got the xbox 360 Burnout Revenge can we play against - with each other or is it not backwards compatable.

Halo 2
I noticed that a lot of us in the chapter have Halo 2. This is a game that I would really like to start playing more of. I was wondering if there are any other TOJ'ers who might be interested in playing Halo 2 online on a relative frequent basis. Keep in mind i just started playing this game so my skills are not great. I got class once a week every thursday and I usually have homework during the week, but I'm up for a quick game every so often and definitely on the weekends.

It may, but I no longer have a gold subscription (it was a free trial). I do have have 2 day trial I got with Gears of War though.

Actually its not to bad. It probably would have sucked anyway. But otherwise, I like the Halo series. Even though I'm sick of people saying..."OMG(osh) HALO ROCKZORS!!!!!!!!!11!!!1111!!!!one!!!!11"

To each their own, if someone thinks Halo is the best game ever, so be it. I am not going to try and convince someone otherwise. I have some weird tastes in games myself (Tekken is my favorite game) so eh I am excited about Halo 3. I just wish it wasn't only on xbox as I want a PS3!

I've been online for a couple of days. I've added a few buddies from the above list that I'm hoping to see online. My nick is Cold Steel 777

I really don't like all that language while i'm playing and a lot are just young kids. Even the older adults male and female say things that just not should be said. It's a shame, but it is a heathernistic (not a word??) world what should be expected (no morals). I still had a lot of fun. I really have gotten out of practice with Burnout Revenge.
It's not a good setup to join games that you like to race through xbox live. As a matter of fact it's pitiful. You got to go into a game just to find one and then it may not be the type of racing game you like. There should be an option to choose the type of game you want to join. It seems like it's just a random game type each time you go into a game. I got booted twice for no apparent reason. Even though I seen someone was ranked #5 in the world.
I tried out Call of Duty 2 and liked it. The game play was really good. I want a keyboard and mouse.

Burnout Revenge never has enough people on it to make it enjoyable. You either can't find the gametype you like or you get booted for no reason. That's the only game I've experienced it with, tho. ^_^
