Hey all,
Most of you probably don't know me, I'm an old ToJ member/current LoE member and also a member of the Gaiscioch guild. Most of you have probably heard about the story of long-time Gaiscioch member Roger "Oldroar" Rall, whom the Sanctum of Rall server was named after and whose story...
Hey all,
I'm an old ToJ member from way back. I'm actually a part of Gaiscioch these days, but was SUPER-pleased when I heard that y'all are going to be on SoR! I'd love to roll with you guys as well - with GW2's multi-guilding, I hope this won't be an issue. :)

Good luck on the relocation! I live in that general area and finding an affordable apartment is no easy feat... but if God has provided the job, he'll provide shelter as well. :)
To be honest, I really wish that all the cities were in at launch, but I'm okay with it overall. Having just one set of cities will result in a shorter learning curve during the early days. As long as they get the other cities in relatively soon (within 6 months or so) of release, it's okay...
It's decent. But yes, you really should see SG-1 if you haven't already. It's a much better show and explains a lot of what will be happening later in Atlantis.
The whole franchise is great because although all the episodes are stand-alone, there is definitely a big storyline progression as...
The only thing on tv worth watching anymore is Smallville, IMHO. :)
I got lost with Lost during season 2 and have had no desire to go back.
Heroes had potential, but was entirely too confusing and contrived.
Stargate: Atlantis started out great, but there's no oomph anymore, no magic...
For the Christian walk... Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller is my favorite book right now. It's excellent. I LOVE his work, I'm currently reading Through Painted Deserts.
I'm also reading The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning. Between Manning and Miller, I've really been rediscovering Christ...
I have a lot of respect for the Marines. One of our good friends is a ex-Marine who spent a year in Iraq 2 years ago. The stories we've heard from him have been crazy, heartwarming, and sometimes very sad and/or angering.
That said... give careful thought to what may be required of you if you...
Wow, that was a great read Elihu. I'm definitely going to do more research on that theory, as I think it may coincide with some other things I've been thinking about regarding paranormal activity.
I played LotRO for a while, and I was so-so on it. They did about as good a job with it as they could have, but due to the creative constraints they're hitting as far as having it mesh with the books, it just didn't feel... well, FUN to me. However I know lots of people who play it and love it...
I think the answer lies somewhere in the middle.
I'm 100% Pro-Life. However, I don't think abortion should be outlawed completely. Why? Because it's considered (rightly or wrongly) a healthcare issue and while it may sound great to outlaw it, it sets a precedence that should be considered. If...
I'd think about it for a moment (I'm not a Hillary fan), then I'd choose the Jesus option: throw the camera in the water, save her life and show her the amazing grace and love of our God.
In my opinion, the Bible that we have today is exactly what we were meant to have. It may not necessarily be the most accurate as far as literal word-for-word translation goes. Jesus likely spoke Aramaic, but the Gospels were written in Greek, so a word-for-word exact translation isn't likely...
